Three HealthFitness Client Sites Receive Locations of Excellence Award from MXM

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — January 20, 2023 — HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, and a leading provider of comprehensive fitness solutions; is pleased to announce that three of its client sites, Beaumont Health Club, Rochester Hills, MI; West Clermont HealthPlex, Cincinnati, OH; and the Wayne County Community College District's Curtis L. Ivery Health and Wellness Education Center (CLI HWEC), Detroit, MI; received the 2022 Annual MXM Locations of Excellence Award. Each award winner has achieved an average score of 9 or higher in at least 5-member feedback categories. The recognition is a testament to the outstanding ability of Beaumont Health Club, West Clermont HealthPlex, and CLI HWEC to gather and act on member feedback and be leaders in providing an exceptional member experience.
Health clubs have been under an enormous strain the past two years. Creating thorough cleaning and safety protocols, keeping centers staffed appropriately and providing an exceptional customer experience has become even more important to gaining member loyalty and satisfaction during the pandemic. As standards and expectations have been raised, so have the challenges health clubs face in meeting them.
Mike Combes, Senior Director, Program Management & Engagement, HealthFitness, who manages the Beaumont Health Club for Corewell HealthTM, the CLI HWEC for Wayne County Community College District, and the HealthPlex for the West Clermont School District, said, “It is outstanding that of 900 clubs nationwide, only 67 met the stringent requirements to receive this award. We take pride in implementing a standard of exceptional service and greatly appreciate our members for recognizing the efforts of our teams.”
The health clubs awarded the MXM Locations of Excellence Award have set themselves apart from other health clubs and seen success as a result of innovation and their commitment to gaining and evaluating feedback in an effort to provide an optimal experience for their members.
Winners are selected based upon two criteria:

- The winner must achieve an average score of 9 in four required categories, and one flex category score of 9.
