Four ways to improve workplace safety

Launching injury prevention programs in your workplace is one of the best ways to protect your most valuable asset: your employees.

With our proven approach, we deliver our services on-site and online and have been able to significantly reduce musculoskeletal (MSK) incidents in employee populations, specifically physical labor workforces. With a focus on prevention, we’ve helped organizations like yours address health issues before they become more serious medical concerns.

How it works

As movement experts, we focus on helping people move smarter and healthier. We know that healthy people create a healthy business. We’ll consult with you to understand the root cause of MSK incidence in your population and address the issues with our approach that’s designed to prevent injuries and minimize the impact when injuries occur. Services include:

  1. Ergonomics for all environments; office, industrial, remote or hybrid
  2. Early intervention services including job task coaching, self-management care, shift stretching and work conditioning
  3. Work readiness including Functional Job Analysis, Post-Offer Employment Testing and Work placement
  4. Physical and occupational therapy. When injuries do occur, our licensed clinicians help minimize the impact and expedite recovery, helping employees get back to feeling and moving well.

Throughout our services, education is key. From seminars and series classes to meet ups and challenges, we offer a variety of educational opportunities focused on personal and comprehensive wellbeing.

Safe onboarding impacts retention at auto manufacturer
Early intervention services delivered to a population of 8,150, including 3,100 new hires.
Here’s how the solution comes together: We’ve worked with our client, a leading multinational auto manufacturer, for over a decade, helping onboard new hires and build retention.

Historically, this client hires and onboards over 200 new associates monthly. To address the issue of new hire turnover typically seen in the first 90 days due to fatigue and injury (and even burnout), we worked with our client to implement a work conditioning program, focused on preventing the high incidence of soft-tissue injuries seen within the de-conditioned (or unprepared) new hires.

We also delivered early intervention, working directly with employees as they perform their jobs, to assess and encourage proper body mechanics. Our continuous presence allows us to proactively identify and address any MSK issues before they become more serious medical issues.

By meeting employees at their worksites, we promote early reporting and intervention of any discomfort. These personal interactions also allow our injury prevention professionals to develop trust and rapport, which is critical to the success of the program.

In a given year, this company hired 3,109 new people. In total, 8,150 employees and contractors were eligible for injury prevention solutions. During that time, we delivered:
  • 15,518 interactions with existing employees, resulting in 94% of participants reporting relief in soreness through our interventions.
  • Additionally, our team had 21,073 unique interactions with 3,109 new hires. Through a combination of work conditioning and line-side coaching, 98% of these new hires avoided OSHA recordable status.
Through the years, we've seen this program mature tremendously growing from one full-time injury prevention professional to 15 dedicated professionals. Year over year, we consistently achieve success rates over 90%.
