Paul Lotharius

Paul Lotharius, President and Chief Executive Officer

Paul brings 20-plus years of experience in operations and technology management in the health care and insurance industries. He previously was president and chief executive officer of CoreSource, a provider of benefit administration and health management services. He has a Master of Business Administration from Butler University.

Dr Dennis Richling

Dennis Richling, M.D., Chief Medical and Wellness Officer

Dennis has a background covering clinical services, wellness product development, community education and programming, and health care policy research. He is also senior medical director for Trustmark, HealthFitness’ parent company. Dennis received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine.


Tatiana Shnaiden, M.D., Chief Science and Analytics Officer

Tatiana brings over 15 years of experience in health care analytics. She most recently served as vice president of value optimization for ActiveHealth Management, evaluating health management and clinical decision support. She holds a master’s degree in biostatistics from New York Medical College School of Public Health, and a medical degree from Russian State Medical University, Moscow.

Steve Alavi S

Steve Alavi, Chief Financial Officer

Steve brings more than years of experience in the financial services industry. He most recently served as executive director of treasury and financial management at Health Care Service Corporation and was responsible for treasury forecasting and planning, financial benefits, and asset liability management. Steve is a certified public accountant.

Mark Totts

Mark Totts, Senior Vice President, Solution Development

Mark previously served as vice president, product development, for the Trustmark Employer Medical Division, where he was responsible for developing client-focused solutions based on market analysis. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Mark holds a Master in Business Administration in business management from University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

Seam McManamy

Sean McManamy, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Product

Sean is responsible for coordinating and creating alignment around HealthFitness’ long-term growth strategy. Prior to HealthFitness, he was vice president, product development and marketing for Trustmark subsidiary, CoreSource, where he was responsible for ongoing development of the company’s data analytics and population health management programs.


Chip Sernyak, Senior Vice President, Growth and Development

Prior to joining HealthFitness, Chip served as northeast regional president for sister company CoreSource, where he built high-performing teams that developed creative, innovative and strategic solutions for delivering upon commitments made and meeting changing market needs. As senior vice president, growth and development, he will leverage his notable leadership successes and insight to drive significant revenue growth across all sales channels. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania.

Brian Harrigan

Brian Harrigan, Senior Vice President, Sales and Development

Brian leads the business development and sales team for all population health management and fitness solutions. He has more than 16 years of experience in health care with an emphasis on new business development, strategic planning, account management, and marketing. Brian is a graduate of Duquesne University with a master’s degree in communications.

Kelly Merriman

Kelly Merriman, Vice President, Service Delivery

Kelly ensures operational excellence for all participant services, which include: lifestyle and condition management coaching, worksite screening, and engagement and health advocacy services. She has more than 15 years of experience in operations and management in the health sector. She has a master’s degree in epidemiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tina Loskota

Tina Loskota, Vice President, Human Resources

Tina is responsible for all aspects of human resources including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, employee relations, payroll administration, safety and legal compliance. She has more than 15 years experience in human resources leadership and management specific to the health and wellness industry.


Ann Wyatt, Vice President, Account Management

Ann has more than 22 years of experience in the health management and fitness industry. Her role includes strategy development for new and existing health management and corporate fitness programs, employee recruiting and training, program quality assurance and operations management.


Jen Smith, Vice President, Account Management

Jen has 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry with expertise in health management, fitness, personal training and wellness coaching. Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in health education from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware.

Deb Marshal

Debra Marshall, Vice President, Marketing

Debra is responsible for HealthFitness’ strategic marketing and communications initiatives. She brings 30 years of experience marketing to businesses and consumers. More than a decade of Debra’s expertise is concentrated in the health and fitness industries, delivering measurable success through marketing communications for a health and fitness facility and an industry-leading manufacturer of inline skates.


Bob George, Vice President, Operations

Bob is responsible for leading and integrating the Reporting and Analysis, Customer Service, Fulfillment and Implementation teams. He brings 25 years of industry experience, including 14 years of on-site program management and 11 years of regional operations management. Bob joined HealthFitness in 2003 as part of the Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. acquisition.
